Redeemer is dedicated to growing the Christian education of its members, young and old.
Learning Hour

We have a Learning Hour every Sunday morning before worship, with Sunday School classes for all ages.

Pre-K/Lower Elementary School, Teacher: Megan Maner

Upper Elementary/Middle School, Teacher: Kerry Coursey

High School, Teachers: Jim Heater and Sylvia Wallis

All youth in 6th grade and up (or younger by request) are required to participate in a Confirmation/Catechism class with Pastor Steve, where they learn about the Lutheran church and explore their faith. Classes are for two years and involve community service, worship service attendance, and monthly discussion lessons. After the child completes Confirmation, they are full adult voting-members of the church.

Vacation Bible School

Every summer, Redeemer puts on a week-long Vacation Bible School program, which is designed to give kids an opportunity to have fun with songs, games, and crafts while learning about God. This year, Redeemer is putting on Gods' Talent Camp.

During Sunday School and worship, we have a nursery for small children whose parents want their children to have a youth-based worship experience during adult worship and programs. We follow stringent safety procedures to keep the children safe. Many older youth volunteer to help take care of the little ones.

Adults are welcome to attend a small-setting Bible Study discussion class every Sunday morning.

Pastor Steve teaches a weekly Bible Study class every Tuesday night at 7 pm. Currently they are discussing Paul's Letter to the Romans.

Sharing Sisters, a woman's group that meets weekly, also completes Bible studies on occasion.
